Which Vanicream™ Cleansers are Right for Me?

Choosing the best skin cleanser is important, especially for those with sensitive or irritated skin. All Vanicream™ Cleansers are made for those with sensitive skin in mind. Although there are similarities between these cleansers, there are key differences between them highlighted below.

Vanicream™ Gentle Facial Cleanser is our mildest cleanser formulated with two cleansing agents. It is also soap-free and has been awarded the National Eczema Association Seal of Acceptance. Additionally, it is non-comedogenic, so it won’t clog pores and is suitable to use on the face.

Vanicream™ Liquid Cleanser is our original cleanser formulated with three cleansing agents. It is also non-comedogenic and suitable to use on face, hands and body.

Vanicream™ Gentle Body Wash is formulated with two cleansing agents and is a great alternative for those who prefer to use a liquid body wash over a cleansing bar. Additionally, it is soap-free and has been awarded the Seal of Acceptance from the National Eczema Association.

The look and feel of each product also differ. Vanicream™ Gentle Facial Cleanser and Vanicream™ Gentle Body Wash have a creamy, pearlescent look, while Vanicream™ Liquid Cleanser is clear.

Additionally, we offer two different cleansing bar options. Vanicream™ Cleansing Bar contains Vanicream™ Cream Base, which incorporates some of the ingredients found in Vanicream™ Moisturizing Cream, and offers a rich lather. It is non-comedogenic, making it suitable to use on the face, as well as on hands and body and has also been awarded the National Eczema Association Seal of Acceptance.

Vanicream™ Z-Bar Medicated Cleansing Bar is formulated with 2% pyrithione zinc to help relieve itching, irritation, redness and scaling associated with seborrheic dermatitis and dandruff. It is also formulated with Vanicream™ Cream Base. The pyrithione zinc bar is non-comedogenic and suitable to use on face, hands, body and scalp.

All Vanicream™ Cleansers are free of common chemical irritants such as dyes, fragrance, masking fragrance, lanolin, parabens and formaldehyde releasers. They are also formulated without cocomidopropyl betaine or sodium lauryl sulfate. In addition, they are all gluten-free, dermatologist tested and suitable for those with sensitive skin.
