For best results use at least twice a week or as directed by doctor. Use on affected areas in place of your regular soap. Work up a rich lather using warm water and massage gently into affected areas. Rinse well.

- Is the Vanicream™ Z-Bar a soap or a cleanser?
- The Vanicream™ Z-Bar is a cleanser, as it is considered “soap-free”. This means that the surfactants that are included in our Z-Bar’s formula are non-soap surfactants. In general, this tends to make our Z-Bar milder and gentler on the skin barrier.
- How often should I use the Z-Bar?
- For the best results, we recommend using our Z-Bar at least twice a week or as directed by your doctor.
- Can I use the Vanicream™ Z-Bar on my scalp?
- Yes, our Z-Bar can be applied to your scalp as well. Another option could be our Vanicream™ Dandruff Shampoo, as they both contain the same concentration of pyrithione zinc.
- How does it compare to other pyrithione zinc products?
- Our Z-bar contains the maximum strength of pyrithione zinc that can be found in a product over the counter at 2%. This product has also been formulated with our nourishing Vanicream™ Cream Base to leave your skin feeling hydrated.
- Will the Z-Bar dry out my skin?
- Our Vanicream™ Z-Bar should not dry out your skin, as our formulation contains our Vanicream™ Cream Base to provide hydration to the skin.
