Great for sensitive,acne and rosacea prone, aging skin!

I have just found my new holy grail facial moisturizer! I have rosacea and sensitized skin from using retinol so it is difficult to find a moisturizer that is hydrating, moisturizing, gentle, and wears well under makeup. This product meets all of those criteria for me. For years I used Cerave PM, but on nights when my skin was extra sensitive it would sting. Hopefully this will become available in local stores soon so I don’t have to pay extra for shipping.

The best

Absolutely the best moisturizer Ive ever tried for my hypersensitive acne prone skin! Ive always struggled finding a moisturizer that deeply hydrates my combination skin without clogging my pores! Please don’t ever discontinue and please start selling in stores!!!

Amazing for sensitive, acne prone skin!

Please stock this in stores! This has been a lifesaver for me, I have super reactive clog-prone skin, and can never find a moisturizer that hydrates well enough. This is the perfect formula (no clogging ingredients or coconut as far as I can tell) and it has worked so well to help my parched skin.

Finally a moisturizer WITHOUT capric/caprylic triglycerides!!!

Thank you, Vanicream for creating a moisturizer without the capric/caprylic triglycerides! Almost all oil free moisturizers have that, plus silicones which both cause me to have more acne. I also suffer from fungal acne in the humid summertime, and Squalane or capric/caprylic triglycerides are the only two “oils” that are fungal acne safe. My skin ONLY tolerates the Squalane. I had given up on moisturizers all together and was just using pure Squalane oil because that’s all I could have that worked for my skin. This is a game changer product! I love that Squalane is the second ingredient in this, and this doesn’t have petrolatum which is too heavy on my combination/acne prone skin. PLEASE don’t change this formula!!! I would love to see a bigger bottle like the light lotion, it’s so nice; I would love to be able to use on my body as well! I prefer this much more than another well known brand with ceramides that starts with a 'C'! Best simple face lotion!

A new love affair has begun

Vanicream: you and I go way back. 10 years ago, when my face was on fire from contact dermatitis caused by so-called “sensitive-skin” products, you picked me up and carried me in your loving arms. My only critique about your products had been that they were mainly petroleum-based. But then THIS. I checked your ingredients and not only are they all clean from an hypoallergenic perspective, but all of the ingredients were a 1 rating on EWG’s Skin Deep database. AND once I tried it...it’s so good. The texture is divine, and is a nice mid-weight that seems to work all over my face, even the acne-prone areas. Vanicream, I see your rebranding, and modern new website, and more high end ingredients, all while staying rooted in what sensitive skin needs...and I love you. Please keep this new direction coming, I’m here for it. Do I wish the bottle was bigger? Yes. But that’s my only kvetch. Now if you can just create a makeup line and update your sunscreen and some of your other products I’d be even more excited. Pipette makes a lovely SPF, but unfortunately they don’t have your dermatology team and it made my son break out (coco glucoside perhaps?). Anyway, you the best.

Omg hands down best facial moisturizer ever! Cleared my stubborn facial eczema and does not clog pores! AWESOME FOR SENSITIVE SKIN TYPES!!! Please sell moisturizer in stores that would be lovely:)

Amazing Moisturizer!

This facial moisturizer is amazing! When my skin barrier was damaged everything stung and irritated my skin. I bought a few moisturizers specifically to help, but they only caused irritation. I figured out that when my skin barrier is impaired, niacinamide really stings my skin. I gave this moisturizer a shot and it worked like a charm! Healed and soothed my skin when nothing else did. I still use this every night, only at night. Only because it does take some time to sink in all the way, and I don't like looking shiny. At first I was worried it would be thick like the Vanicream body moisturizer, but this cream is very light weight, like a gel cream. Exactly like the CeraVe Daily moisturizing lotion. The ingredients are great for your skin too. If you want a good night moisturizer, this one would be a good option. This product really surprised me, and it is now one of my holy grails!

Not to be dramatic but — HOLY GRAIL

I’ve struggled with acne my entire life, a year ago I started tretinoin but had an impossible time finding a moisturizer that was thick enough to stop flaking but that didn’t contribute to more acne. All of the popular thick moisturizers out there use mineral oil, petrolatum, fatty alcohols or stearic acid but this moisturizer doesn’t! I’ve been using for a week and am SHOCKED at how well it moisturizes my flaky tret skin without creating new breakouts. PLEASE sell in stores and I’ll be a lifelong convert!

What a relief!

Since becoming sensitive to botanicals, it's been tough finding facial products that are hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic and have enough moisturizing capability. The Vaicream body creams were making my face break out. I just put this on my face for the first time and it feels great! My entire toiletry cabinet is blue & white containers of Vanicream! Thank you!

Amazing Product

This facial moisturizer is my new favorite. I was using a vegan facial moisturizer from a different brand but over time my skin was becoming more irritated and drier. It was because of the essential oils apparently. This product, and Vanicream in general, has saved my skin so many times when I would break out in hives and painful blisters from a reaction to something. I hope they never stop making this facial moisturizer, it is just THAT great! P.S. it also has no animal ingredients and is cruelty free - two things very important to me as a consumer.
