ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform analysis, design, implementation, and training related to software change requests to expand and improve existing systems.
- Design, develop, implement, and support code including: web, relational databases, and integration configuration. Utilize software development lifecycle practices and collaborate effectively with users from all departments.
- Investigate and resolve application functionality and performance issues. Provide assistance and advice to users on effective use of applications and technology.
- Provide structured, repeatable ad-hoc reporting.
- Support integrations with 3rd party business applications.
- Manage ongoing workload of tickets and projects, communicating prioritization and status.
- Continuously develop personal expertise in technologies and standards.
- Provide first-call user support for technology when needed as a backup.
- Perform all assigned job functions in compliance with the FDA’s cGMP regulations.
COMPETENCIES
- Familiarity with systems analysis
- Experienced with development in at least one web/RDBMS stack
- Comfortable with relational database concepts – tables, indexes, queries, stored procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experienced and comfortable with enterprise business systems and data
- Self-motivated and comfortable working with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong experience with Windows operating systems
- Comfortable with business applications, computer systems, and general technology
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
- There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, and photocopiers.

USUAL WORKING HOURS

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Post-secondary degree in computer science or related field and 2+ years developing and supporting production software, or
- 5+ years developing and supporting production software.
