With strong US distribution, we are dedicated to providing high-quality products to our valued customers. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an Accounting Associate to join our finance team.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Accounts Payable
- Process vendor invoices and payments, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
- Reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Manage vendor relationships, resolve discrepancies, and handle inquiries regarding accounts payable.
- Inventory Accounting
- Assist in tracking inventory transactions, including receiving, adjustments, and usage.
- Reconcile physical inventory counts with the accounting system and investigate discrepancies.
- Maintain records for product costing, inventory variances, and COGS (Cost of Goods Sold).
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.
- Review and reconcile expense reports.
- Prepare multi-state sales/use tax returns.
- Prepare year-end 1099s
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Assist with accounts receivable as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the company.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Internship or previous work experience in finance or accounting.
- Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
- There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanner, filing cabinets and fax machines.

USUAL WORKING HOURS
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Capability to work extended hours if necessary.
TRAVEL
- This position may be required to travel for educational purposes.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 1-5 years of experience in accounting

- The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $66,000 per year.
