JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for assisting the marketing and sales departments.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assist Sales Manager with various tasks including but not limited to new item paperwork, other paperwork, and projects involving customers.
- Process internet and fax sample orders.
- Assist the sales team in preparing sample boxes for their sales trips.
- Brochure inventory management.
- Trade show planning and preparation.
- Taking minutes at the sales and marketing department meetings and giving input into these meetings.
COMPETENCIES
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Must work well with other departments.
- A positive “can do” attitude.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
- There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
- The employee will also spend time in the warehouse, occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving parts, and vibrations. The noise level in the work environment can be moderate to loud.

- This job requires the employee to occasionally sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or stand for periods. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.

USUAL WORKING HOURS
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Capability to work extended hours if necessary.
TRAVEL
- This position may be required to travel, but not often.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a marketing or customer service position preferred.
